PI notary law and practices workshop

    PRESQUE ISLE – Notary Public education is coming to Aroostook County. On Friday, Oct. 3, the Informed Notaries of Maine, Inc., a private organization founded over 15 years ago to educate notaries in the state of Maine, will host an educational workshop on notary law and practices at city hall in Presque Isle from 1-3:30 p.m.  The workshop will be taught by INM President and University of Maine at Presque Isle Alumni Sherry Tibbetts. It will cover notary law and practices, notary updates, how to do a civil wedding ceremony, and a question and answer session. This will be an excellent workshop for the seasoned notary, as well as the new notary.
