 Image   Lacy Jean Anderson and Spencer Neil Caron were married August 23, 2008, in an outdoor wedding at the home of Mrs. Jim Merkel, grandmother of the bride. The Rev. James Merkel of Maxton, N.C., uncle of the bride, performed the double-ring ceremony. Lacy is the daughter of Gordon and Sue Anderson of Mars Hill, and Spencer is the son of Louis and Shirley Caron of Van Buren.     The wedding party included Jill Durost of Fort Kent as matron of honor; her daughter Anna-Bell Durost as flower girl; Hanna Merkel of Maxton, N.C., cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. Best man was Joey Cyr of Van Buren; Colby Caron of Van Buren, brother of the groom and Louis Caron, father of the groom, were groomsmen. Jordan and Daniel Anderson of Portland, brothers of the bride, were ushers.
    Lacy is a 2004 graduate of Central Aroostook High School in Mars Hill and attended the University of Maine at Fort Kent. She is employed at the Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent as a child psych tech.
    Spencer is a 2002 graduate of Van Buren High School, a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Fort Kent with an associate degree in forest technology and a 2007 graduate from UMFK with a bachelor of science in rural public safety administration. He is employed at Northern Maine Surveyors as a survey technician.
    The couple currently resides in Fort Kent.
