Rotary Update Given

UPDATE GIVEN – On November 10, Captain Steven Pearl of the Salvation Army, left, was welcomed to the Houlton Rotary Club by President Fred Grant. Pearl updated his fellow Rotarians on the progress of the new Salvation Army thrift store in Houlton. Pearl and his wife Irma, who is also a Captain in the Salvation Army, continue to improve the Water Street building that houses the store. All proceeds from the Houlton project will help establish a stable financial basis to develop programming in the area and fund assistance plans for local families. The Houlton store reopened last week after being closed briefly to allow for needed renovations.
