Many hands make ‘light’ work

To the editor:
    I am writing to thank all the people in Oakfield that helped this year getting the Christmas lights ready and putting them up for the Holiday Season. Many hands went into doing this and certainly made the job of getting this done much easier for everyone.
    Also a ‘thank you’ to Katahdin Forest Products for providing the equipment to install the lights on the poles and a special ‘thank you’ to Elaine Crandall for providing the Christmas tree that is lit at the Bandstand. Elaine and Roger have donated a tree to the town of Oakfield for many, many years and Elaine continues to do this in memory of Roger.
    I know that the residents of Oakfield appreciate this and enjoy having these Christmas lights around the town. Again thank you and a very Merry Christmas to all.
