Maternal grandparents are Joseph and Wendy Zubrick of Presque Isle.     Getchell-Hanning – A boy, Richard Perry Getchell-Hanning, born to Amber Getchell and Mitchell Hanning of Chapman on December 8, 2008. Maternal grandparents are LouAnne Langley of Chapman and Richard Getchell of Mapleton. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Ann Hanning of Mapleton.
 Dionne – A boy, Pruet Baker Dionne, born to Sloan and Scott Dionne of Mars Hill on December 12, 2008. Maternal grandparents are Gary and Florence Zettergren of Bridgewater. Paternal grandparents are Philip and Mary Dionne of Caribou.
