Beaulieu, Ludger, 95, Limestone, in Van Buren, January 21, 2009. A spring interment will take place at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

Image    LIMESTONE – Ludger Beaulieu, 95, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at a Van Buren health-care facility. He was born May 30, 1913, in Van Buren, the son of Florent and Marie (Belanger) Beaulieu. Ludger worked for many in construction and plumbing and was also a volunteer firefighter for the town of Limestone. He enjoyed fishing, hunting as well as woodworking. Ludger and his wife Eva loved to play cards and went to all the card parties they could find up and down the St. John Valley. Ludger was a communicant of St. Louis Catholic Church as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus.
    Ludger is survived by six children: Richard and his wife Lorna of Milwaukee, Oregon, Gene of Limestone, Gerald and his wife Cindy of Fort Fairfield, Allen and his wife Lori of Stockholm, Jannine Dinardo and her husband Wayne of Salem, Oregon, Joyce Williams and her husband Ron of Bolit, Wisconsin, fourteen grandchildren, a sister Katherine of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by wife Eva (Grivois) Beaulieu as well as several brothers and sisters.
    Friends called 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2009, at the Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie celebrant. A spring interment will take place at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
