Melissa Jewett, daughter of Frances Mallory of Kenduskeaq and Louis Mallory of Oakland, and Steven Blanchette, son of Amy Blanchette of Hodgdon and Mark Blanchette of Houlton, announce their engagement.
Jewett is a 2000 graduate of Fort Fairfield Middle-High School, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle where she majored in social work. She is presently employed at Burrelles Luce.
Blanchette is a 1998 graduate of Hodgdon High School. He will graduate in December from Northern Maine Community College with a degree in computer aided drafting.
A June 6, 2009 wedding is planned at St. Mary’s in Houlton.
