Middle school boys, girls win Aroostook League

    This year’s PIMS boys’ blue grade eight basketball team captured the Aroostook League Championship with a 9-0 league record. For the entire season, they went undefeated with a record of 14-0.

    Defensively, they allowed opponents to score 23 points on average, while offensively P.I. scored an average of 44 points a game.
    Leading the team in scoring were Tyler Brooks (200 points), Griffin Lovely  and Michael Guerrette (104 points), Jacob Williams (80 points). Logan Dumais, Karson Eaton and Drew Barrett all contributed points as well.
    Defensively, the boys’ blue team was led by Williams, Guerrette, Brooks, Fox and Lovely.
    Managers Thomas Freeman and Caleb Hobbs ran the scoreboard and recorded statistics.
