Have a seat …Houlton Rotary is taking pledges for new seats

The members of the Houlton Rotary Club voted to take pledges for the new seats to be installed in the new Houlton Community Arts Center auditorium.
The club has 40 pledges already from the recent Rotary Auction in November, but needs many more to complete the projected number of 500.

The old auditorium seats will be removed this spring. The members of the club are working to solicit pledges to complete the project by this summer. The seats cost $300 each, $550 for two, or $750 for three. There will be a plate inscribed with a message with your name or in memory or honor of a particular person, class, business or organization and attached to the seats and also on a large plaque to be displayed at the entrance of the renovated auditorium.
Rotarians, Mike and Debbie Clark have arranged a display in the windows of the old French Block on the corner of Main and Court Street for the public to view the new seats.  As the pledges come in, a pledge card will be displayed in the window. To make your pledge please contact any Houlton Rotarian or Michael and Debbie Clark, at 532-7148, 624-1745 or 624-1746.
