BREWER – Kyle McCrum, of Winterport, was recently commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Maine Army National Guard. McCrum is an Infantry Platoon Leader with Co B, 3/172 Infantry (Mountain) based in Brewer.
To receive his commission as an officer in the United States Army and the Maine National Guard, McCrum successfully completed an extensive training program and swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies.
McCrum is the son of Barry and Beverly McCrum of Mars Hill. He is a graduate of Central Aroostook High School and Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. McCrum lives in Winterport with his wife, Natasha.
