The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will be offering the food preservation workshop “Home Canning for Today: What your Mother Never Taught You.”
These are “hands-on” classes and will cover water bath and pressure canning, freezing and drying. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. Cost for the workshop is $12.50 per person. Register by calling 532-6548 or 800-287-1469.
