Emma Duplessie-Cyr, daughter of Tim Cyr and Tina Duplissie-Cyr, was crowned Jr. Miss Caribou during a special ceremony on July 17 following the winning of the Jr. Miss Maine Potato Queen title by Regan Buck.
A formal ceremony honoring the new queen is scheduled to be held during the first week of August, according to Sherrill Campbell, Junior Miss/ Miss Teen Caribou director.
Emma was named Jr. Miss Congeniality and winner of the Jr. Miss interview portion of the Junior Miss Caribou pageant that took place in March of 2009.
