Junior Miss Caribou Regan Buck, center, was crowned the 2009 Junior Miss Maine Potato Queen last Wednesday night at the Junior Miss pageant held in Fort Fairfield as part of the annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival. She is the daughter of Steven and Pamela Buck. Congratulating the new queen are Junior Miss Mapleton Hannah Stoutamyer, left, who was named first runner-up, and Junior Miss Fort Fairfield Madeline Martin, right, who was named second runner-up. Stoutamyer is the daughter of Adam and Kristi Stoutamyer and Martin is the daughter of Tony and Dawn Martin. A story and more photos will appear in an upcoming issue of The Aroostook Republican.
