PRESQUE ISLE — Community festivals attract visitors from near and far. With the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest just around the corner, now’s the time to optimize your options for potential customers and plan a garage, yard or tag sale.
“The Crown of Maine Balloon Fest would be a great time to have a yard sale. With all the people visiting the area and out following balloons, there will be many new shoppers in the area,” said Theresa Fowler, executive director of the Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce.
Fowler said in an effort to help sellers link up with potential buyers, the PIACC is planning its second city-wide yard sale of the year.
“If you would like to participate in a city-wide yard sale August 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., let us know,” said Fowler.
