PRESQUE ISLE — Bridges Transition is pleased to announce “Lunch & Learn,” a series of workshops for parents and providers in partnership with Maine Parent Federation.
These sessions will focus on transition topics you asked for from our recent survey. If you have a son or daughter with special needs, these workshops are designed to answer the questions you have been asking.
These sessions will focus on transition topics, are accessible and at a central location for Aroostook, a light lunch will be provided and two contact hours are provided.
Beginning in August, the series will run through May with a different topic each month. The first session is Special Education Transition Regulations and will be on Friday, August 14, 2009, at the Presque Isle CareerCenter from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Workshops are free, however, you must pre-register by noon the Friday before so we can plan for meal and materials. Space is limited. If needed, we will create a wait list.
