The annual “Just for Kids” Summer Playground will hold its annual Peanut Parade Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Market Square, with the Peanut Carnival Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Street tennis courts. In case of rain, the carnival will be held downstairs in the Houlton Recreational Center. The crowning of the 2009 Peanut King and Queen will take place at 8 p.m. in the Houlton Recreational Center gymnasium.
