    CARIBOU – The following cases were heard at the Aroostook County Superior Court during the month of June, 2009.
    Michael Hoague, 23, Van Buren: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer (two counts), failing to make oral or written accident report and failing to stop for officer, 30 days in jail (each count); operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine and 30 days in jail; driving to endanger, $575 fine, 30 days in jail and 30-day license suspension; aggravated criminal mischief, 18 months in prison, all but six months suspended, two years’ probation and $18,000 restitution; OUI, $500 fine, 48 hours in jail and 90-day license suspension; and violating condition of release, dismissed.     Mark A. Howell, 51, Caribou: elevated aggravated assault, dismissed; and reckless conduct, three years in jail, all but 10 days suspended, two years’ probation and 100 hours’ community service.
    Jason C. King, 31, Caswell: criminal threatening and domestic violence assault, both dismissed; disorderly conduct, fighting, $500 fine; and endangering the welfare of a child, 60 days in jail, all but four days suspended and one year probation.
    Piernot Lajoie-Daviault, 28, Drummondville, N.B.: illegal importation of scheduled drugs, filed on $500 costs.
    Ryan D. Lemire, 24, Fort Kent: unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $1,000 fine; and operating while license suspended or revoked-prior, $500 fine.
    Scott N. McBreairty, 40, Woodland: domestic violence assault, five months and 23 days in jail and probation revoked; and operating after habitual offender revocation-two prior, $1,000 fine and six months in jail.
    Erica N. McNinch, 27, Mars Hill: OUI-one prior, $1,100 fine, 30 days in jail and 4-year license suspension; failing to make oral or written accident report and operating vehicle without license-condition/restriction, both dismissed.
    Gail Michaud, 39, Fort Fairfield: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, unconditional discharge.
    Christopher W. Nelson, 45, Winter Harbor: violating suspended or revoked license, $200 fine.
    Darrin M. Nickerson, 37, Caribou: gross sexual assault, $2,500 fine, 12 years in prison, all but two years suspended and six years’ probation; and unlawful sexual contact, two years in prison.
    Robert J. Ouellette, 48, Presque Isle: domestic violence assault and obstructing report of crime, both dismissed; and refusing to submit to arrest or detention, $300 fine.
    Vernon L. Pinkham IV, 33, Gardiner: assault (two counts), five years in prison (each); gross sexual assault, dismissed; and violating condition of release (two counts), five years in prison, all but two years suspended and two years’ probation (first) and five years in prison, all suspended and two years’ probation (second).
    Edmond Rossignol, 40, Connor Twp: OUI-two priors, $1,100 fine, six months in jail and 4-year license suspension; operating while license suspended or revoked-OUI, $600 fine, seven days in jail and 1-year license suspension; and violating condition of release, 90 days in jail.
    Brent J. Shade, 26, Presque Isle: gross sexual assault, four years in prison, all but one year suspended and two years’ probation; unlawful sexual touching, 30 days in jail; assault, $500 fine and 30 days in jail; and violating condition of release, 15 days in jail.
    Michael D. Shapiro, 25, Presque Isle: domestic violence assault, $300 fine and 90 days in jail.
    Jesse E. Sirois, 25, Van Buren: driving to endanger, $575 fine, OUI-1 prior, $700 fine, six months in jail, all but 15 days suspended, one year probation and 3-year license suspension; violating condition of release, 10 days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug (two counts), $400 fine and ten days in jail (each).
    Timothy A. St. Peter, 45, Fort Fairfield: gross sexual assault (two counts), one year in prison (first) and nine years in prison, all but two years suspended and six years’ probation; unlawful sexual contact and violating condition of release (two counts), one year in prison (each count).
    Anthony M. Thurlow, 23, Presque Isle: operating after habitual offender revocation-prior, $1,000 fine and six months in jail; violating condition of release (two counts), three months in jail (first) and 90 days in jail (second); failing to give correct name, address or date of birth and burglary, both dismissed; and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $500 fine, three years in prison, all but six months suspended, two years’ probation and $559.95 restitution.
    Jessie Tirrell, 20, Caribou: burglary, two years in prison, all but 200 days suspended, two years’ probation, $1,340.19 restitution and 100 hours’ community service; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and criminal mischief, 30 days in jail (each).
    Dylan P. Tompkins, 21, Presque Isle: probation violation, nine months in jail and probation revoked; eluding and officer, nine months in jail; theft by unauthorized use of property, six months in jail; OUI-1 prior, $700 fine, 15 days in jail and 3-year license suspension; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed; operating while license suspended or revoked-prior (two counts), $500 fine and 15 days in jail (each); violating condition of release (two counts), 15 days in jail (each).
