County soccer squads remain among the tops in their respective regions, as the playoffs loom ever closer.
Boys Soccer The Presque Isle boys soccer team continues to solidify its playoff standings in Eastern Class B standings, as the Wildcats are third in the region. Presque Isle (8-0-2, 41.9005 points) is now behind second-ranked Mount View (8-0-1, 50.2679) and top-ranked Camden Hills (9-1, 56.9643).
In Class D, Central Aroostook (9-2, 53.8265) remains the top-ranked team with a commanding lead over No. 2 Wisdom (8-3, 39.5408). Ashland (6-3, 30.7398) is fifth; Easton (5-9, 15.4105) is 11th; Washburn (2-9-1, 13.3291) 13th; and FF (3-6, 9.5663) is 16th.
Girls Soccer
Presque Isle (8-0, 58.1633) has dropped out of the No. 1 seed, slipping to second in Eastern Class B. Winslow (9-0, 59.6429) holds a slim lead.
In D, Easton (9-4-1, 33.6607) remains in second place. Ashland (7-2,33.1122) is a close third, while CA (4-6-1, 31.1352) is fourth; FF (6-2-1, 30.7015) is fifth; Washburn (2-7-3, 19.1454) is ninth.
