Maine Celebrates National Business Women’s Week

    Maine Business and Professional Women  and Business and Professional Women’s Foundation announce that the annual National Business Women’s Week™ (NBWW) will be held Oct. 19-23.NBWW offers communities, companies and organizations an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of working women and companies that have made strides toward improving workingwomen’s lives in their communities.     Caribou and Fort Kent local BPW organizations will host the annual state Maine BPW Fall Board meeting during National Business Women’s Week in Caribou at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center Oct. 23-24.       Judy Bragg and Sandra Carter, Ellsworth, serve as BPW Maine State co presidents and will hear reports and conduct the business of the organization. BPW Maine Vice President, Dr. Rachel Albert, Fort Kent, recently returned from the Breast Cancer Summit in  Washington, D.C., will report on the “Game Plan for Pink Virus Project.”  Speakers will also address “Health Care Reform” and the Children’s Discovery Museum in Caribou.
