Celebrating 99 Years

    Marguerite Simpson of Cary celebrated her 99th birthday at home on Oct. 9 with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her daughter, Geraldine West, said: “She is a remarkable woman with an incredible memory, a wonderful sense of humor, and a strong faith in God. A few months ago she was telling a family member that if she lived to be 99, she wanted a party. She made it to 99 and her family and friends are looking forward to celebrating her 100th with her.”
