DELORES BROWN, chaplain of the Ray Goding Post 88 American Legion Auxiliary, received recognition at the state convention of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bangor for her compilation of a Prayer Book to be used in Legion meetings and formal occasions.
This is a prestigious honor for the Presque Isle chaplain as well as the Auxiliary, since the competition was open to all units in Maine and there were many entries statewide.
