Kids Club Has Started up Again!
The Masardis Pentecostal Church has begun its “Kids Club” night. This popular event is for children of all denominations and is intended to promote friendship and fellowship. There are games, Bible stories, and snacks. The get-together usually lasts for about an hour. The club is held every other Thursday, starting at approximately 6:30 p.m., with the next being held Nov. 19. If any child needs a ride, one can be provided! Just give them a call to arrange the pick-up and drop-off times. The bus will be leaving the church at 5:30 p.m. to begin picking the kids up and arriving back for the club events at 6:30 p.m. Then at 7:30 p.m. they will again leave the church to drop the kids back off at their homes. Please call Cindy Morton at 435-6983 or 554-0359 to arrange for a ride and/or if you have any questions.
Girl Scouts of Maine Hosting Parent Information Night in Ashland
The Girl Scouts of Maine will be hosting a Parent Information Night Monday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Ashland Recreation Center. The meetings are informal and friendly and meant to give parents or guardians the opportunity to find out about the many fun ways their girls can participate in Girl Scouting. It is also an opportunity to recruit adult volunteers, to ensure the Scouts will hold a presence in our community.

Girls Scouts is open to all girls between the ages of 5 and 17, and is a place where they develop self-esteem and leadership skills they can use today and throughout their lives.
