Rena Richardson was recognized as one of the Easton Bears’ most faithful fans. Rena was supported by many of her family members when she received the award. Rena has been going to basketball games for over eight decades. She has attended over 1,500 Easton games, including junior high, JV and varsity games.
Rena played for the Easton Lady Bears in 1934. She always has a smile on her face and a word of encouragement for the players, because she understands basketball. She will discuss it with anyone who will listen.
Her sons carried on the love of the sport, playing for the Easton Bears and competing on some great teams as well as a state championship team.
Congratulations, Rena, and keep cheering for our Easton Bears.

Nathan-Manning Harris and Troy Chasse will be another year older on the 31st of December. Also Jarvis and Carolyn Holmes have an anniversary that day.

On Jan. 2nd Allene Embelton, Sally Flewelling and Freda Dionne will be celebrating their birthdays.
Happy birthday to Trish Hafford and Kyla Lagassie on Jan. 3.
Cody Embelton and Aleisha Doody will be another year older on Jan. 4.
Jack Dionne, John Trask, Debbie Wolverton and Hillary Trainer have birthdays on Jan. 5. Happy birthday to you all. Also Debbie and Budd Nicholson will be celebrating their anniversary on Jan. 5.

There were many familiar faces of relatives that I noticed around town during the Christmas season. Keith and Esther Richardson had many of their family members home for Christmas and also to attend the wedding of Sara Sullivan and Joe King the day after Christmas.
Chris Smith was home and spent the holiday with his parents, Debbie and Vance, and other family members.
Taylor Burtt is feeling a little better and was able to get out to the game on Saturday. It was nice to see her. Taylor has been quite sick for a few weeks and in and out of the hospital. She is gaining a little now and is able to get out a bit.
We were very glad to see you at the game, Taylor. Continue to get stronger every day.
