    HOULTON – L.D. Young Jr., 93, died Feb. 8, 2010 at a local health care facility. He was born January 21, 1917, at Fort Fairfield the son of Leonard D. Sr. And Kathryn (Smith) Young.
    L.D. was a long-time area farmer and antique dealer.
    He is survived by one sister, Maryann and her husband Philip Boyne, all of his Alfred Street neighbors and the Bernie Reece family.
    He was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife Sara M. Young.
