CARIBOU — United Insurance is located throughout Maine, and as of Monday, March 15, Caribou will find itself home to a United Insurance office.
Relocating from Limestone to better serve their customers’ needs, United Insurance customers will find their local branch at 159 Bennett Drive, next to the Department of Motor Vehicles office.
United Insurance customers of the Haines Agency have been informed of the relocation through mailers, emails, and some personal visits announcing the move. “Our customers should be well informed, and hopefully we’ve done a good job there,” said Senior Vice President and Agency Manager Calvin Deschene.
The move has also allowed the Haines Agency an opportunity to upgrade their equipment. While the location will be changing, the friendly and helpful employees — Chris Berube, account manager; Kris Collier, account manager; and Paul Haines, advisory consultant — will still be ready to assist their customers with all their insurance needs.
While customers adjust to the new address and phone number, the Haines Agency is prepared for the gradual change. Should a customer, for instance, contact the agency through the old phone number, it will automatically be forwarded to the new office to ensure that the insured have no problem getting coverage assistance.
As Caribou recently celebrated its 150th birthday, the Haines Agency is celebrating 40 years’ of providing tailored coverage, good claims service and excellent customer service at a competitive prices. Started in 1970 by Paul Haines, the agency joined United Insurance back in 2004. Haines himself is still involved with the business, and Berube has also been with the agency since 1970.
