It’s been a difficult season for many Aroostook County softball squads as wins have been hard to come by for several teams.
In Eastern Maine Class D, Ashland (3-1, 5.4285) is sixth in the Heal Point rankings, while Fort Fairfield (3-4, 3.5938) is eighth, Central Aroostook (2-2, 2.0833) is 11th and Washburn (0-6) is last. The top nine teams qualify for the postseason.
In Eastern Class B, Presque Isle (1-3, 3.5156) is currently 13th. The top 10 teams qualify for the playoffs.
