Three gain Presque Isle varsity club weekly honor
The Presque Isle High School Varsity Club and Big Cheese Pizza are pleased to congratulate Connor Shaw and Meredith Stewart for being selected as athletes of the week for April 26-May 1 and Ethan Braley on the same honor for May 3-8.
Shaw has not lost a match for the boys varsity tennis team so far this season.
At the track and field meet held in Bucksport, Stewart placed first in the discus and had second-place finishes in the shot put and javelin. She qualified for the PVC championship meet.
Braley hit a three-run home run in the baseball team’s 12-0 win over Fort Kent.
