Register early for the Houlton alumni gala

HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton High School Alumni Association is encouraging attendees to register early for  the gala Dinner Dance which will conclude the Multi-Class Reunion scheduled for this summer. The gala will be held Saturday, July 10 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Millar Civic Center.  The evening will be begin with a social time followed by dinner and dancing.
The meal is again being prepared and served by members of the Houlton Lodge of Elks. Selections will include beef, seafood, turkey and lasagna. The Elks will also be handling the hors d’ouevres for the social time. Music will be provided throughout the evening with DJ Mike Dow handling the dance music. Dow is a member of Houlton High School Class of 1982.
Registration materials were mailed to HHS alumni in the spring newsletter in recent weeks. On line registration is also available on the Alumni Association web site at www.houltonalumni.com.  The cost for the gala is $30 per person if paid by June 30th, 2010.  Registrations after that will cost $35.
Information on the other Reunion activities is also available on the web site.  The events include parade entries, an alumni soccer game, alumni art show, Social, alumni Variety Show and Golf Scramble.
