60th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pratt celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a quiet gathering of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Angela Pratt in Hampden June 5. Those in attendance were: daughter Alberta McDonald of Merrill; son and daughter-in-law Dale and Bonnie Pratt of Oakfield; daughter and son-in-law Pearl and Ken Bustard of Bucksport; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Angela Pratt of Hampden; grandchildren, Ginger McDonald of Haverhill, Mass; Bethany Collins of Smyrna, along with a friend, Liz Fernandez of Maryland; April Chapman of Emden; Noel Pratt from Oakfield; Benjamin and Nicole Bustard from Bucksport; and Danielle and Mitchell Pratt from Hampden. Kimberly and Dan Pye of Northridge, Calif. were unable to attend; and great-grand children Ezekiel and Ivan Chapman of Emden. More than 100 cards were received from neighbors, family and friends. Included were best wishes from Judge Judy Sheindlin; a note and signed photo from the Rev. Billy Graham; a letter of congratulations from James Daly, president of Focus on the Family; Dr. Charles Stanley of In Touch Ministries; Governor John Baldacci; Rep. Henry Joy and Sen. Roger Sherman. An official expression of sentiment was sent on behalf of the 124th Legislature and the people of Maine.
