MHCC hosts senior golfers
The St. John Valley Senior Golf Association held a tournament at Mars Hill Country Club on June 30 with 152 players. Gary Greene of Covered Bridge was the low gross scorer with a 75, while Stephen Stiles of Mars Hill scored the low net of 65.

The Seniors opened its season with a tournament at Grand Falls, N.B. on June 16, with a field of 139 players. Winning low gross score of 72 was Edmundston, N.B.’s Jacques Garant and taking the low net score of 60 was Wally Polchies of the Covered Bridge.
