A COOL TREAT – During the fifth annual July Fourth free picnic at Riverside Park in Presque Isle, hosted by the Presque Isle Elks Lodge 1954, sisters Chloe Lento, 3, left, and Paige Lento, 5, of Easton, cooled down with dishes of ice cream. The Presque Isle Elks also served grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, soda and watermelon to the public. In addition, the Independence Day event saw a car show on Riverside Drive, musical entertainment in the park gazebo, Humvee rides, boat rides on the Presque Isle Stream, and children’s games with prizes. More photos from the July Fourth celebration will appear in an upcoming issue of The Star-Herald.
