ASHLAND — The Ashland Rotary Four-Person Scramble will be held Saturday July 10 at the Portage Hills Country Club. Registration runs from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, with a shotgun start following at 10 a.m. The cost is $200 per team.
The minimum team handicap is 40. There will be mens and ladies divisions, with cash prizes for gross and net. A hole-in-one contest, sponsored by Percy’s Auto Sales, will award one lucky golfer with a 2010 Jeep Compass if they card an ace on the sixth hole.

Aroostook Valley Country Club in Fort Fairfield will host junior-adult golf nights July 8 and 29 and Aug. 5.
This is a nine-hole event with a meal and prizes to follow. Any golfer 18 years of age and younger is considered a junior golfer and therefore is eligible to play. The cost is $10 for juniors and $12 for adult members and $23 for adult non-members.

The Dutch Soccer Academy is offering a day camp in Presque Isle July 12-16. Held at Northern Maine Community College, grades K-4 meet from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and grades 5-9 from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

The Presque Isle High School Athletic Hall of Fame committee is currently accepting nominations of candidates to be considered for induction.

The Presque Isle High School Varsity Club is pleased to bring back to Presque Isle the Boston-based rock and blues band Ernie and the Automatics. The Automatics will be live in concert on Friday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. in the PIHS Auditorium.
The band returns to Presque Isle in support of its new CD “Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades.”
Members of Ernie and the Automatics have sold over 30 million albums worldwide. The band features guitarist Barry Goudreau and drummer Sib Hashian, both former original members of the multi-platinum selling band Boston.
Local group Common Crossing will open the show.
Tickets are $15 each and now available at Bradley’s Citgo, the Aroostook Centre Mall and Aroostook Music.
