CLOWNING AROUND — A number of clowns participated in the Madigan Estates Summer Carnival, blowing up balloons and entertaining the guests and residents.

Children’s games featured everything from balloon dart game, to ball tosses, face painting and a duck game, each with a variety of prizes.
“New this year is a sprinkler for the bigger kids or kids at heart and a jungle kiddie pool for the little ones,” Anderson said. “And what is a carnival with out food? Again this year we are making our fried dough, have Houlton Farms Dairy lemonade, popsicles, corn dogs and one of the biggest hits, Cotton Candy. The last time that we were able to do this was three years ago, due to the many rainy days the last two summers.”
