LITTLEFIELD, Robert S., 61, LIMESTONE & MAPLETON, at Limestone, September 26, 2010. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at High St. Baptist Church in Limestone. A committal with military honors will take place at Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
LIMESTONE & MAPLETON – Robert S. Littlefield, 61, passed away September 26, 2010, at his residence in Limestone. He was born July 25, 1949, in Presque Isle, the son of Lawrence and Nettie (Pendexter) Littlefield.
Robert grew up in Mapleton and attended Presque Isle schools. He served his country during Vietnam as a Marine from 1969-1970.
Robert worked at many jobs including Converse Shoe and Georgia Pacific. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading authors such as Louis L’Amour and James Patterson. He was a member of the High St. Baptist Church in Limestone.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-two years, Alice (Hughes) Littlefield; four children, Kimberly Kenney of Houlton, Scott Kenney of Presque Isle, Rachel and Stacey Littlefield, both of Connecticut; three stepsons, Sheldon Keiser and his wife, Heather of Presque Isle, Corey Keiser and his wife, Jennifer of Presque Isle, and Reggie Keiser and his wife, Dani of Fort Fairfield; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Spencer, Dawson, Josh, Abbie, Landon and Houston. He also leaves behind a brother, Steven Littlefield and his wife, Marilynne of Hermon; three sisters, Winnie Ireland and her husband, Dana of Mapleton, Linda Carmichael and her husband, Mickey of Houlton, and Carolyn Kenney of Bangor; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010, at High St. Baptist Church in Limestone, with Pastor Charlie Campbell officiating. A committal with military honors will take place following the service at Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle.
