A no-nonsense,
but effective security solution
To the editor:
Airport security, specifically the Transportation Security Administration, has been taking a lot of hits lately. But someone has come up with a really good idea.
When my wife and I flew out of Presque Isle for a Thanksgiving holiday with our children, the first person we met at TSA Airport Security was a retired Marine. He was obviously military with a firm and polite manner, very professional.
If we can’t subcontract U.S. Airport Security out to the Israelis, having at least one military veteran on each TSA team is something we should establish at every airport and other security checkpoints.
