Julie and Paul McHatten are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Ann McHatten to William Sheehan III. Will is the son of William and Clara Sheehan.

Kelly is a 2002 graduate of Presque Isle High School. She is a graduate of Husson College in 2007, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at EMMC.

Will is a 1990 graduate of Bucksport High School and a graduate of The University of Maine of Orono in 1993. He is employed as a patrol sargent with the Penobscot County sheriff’s office.

The couple will exchange vows on August 27, 2011, at the Penobscot Valley Country Club with a reception following.
