Amanda Larson, of Milo, a student in the Medical Laboratory Technology Program of Maine, began a 20-week internship at the Cary Medical Center lab in January. Gaining valuable hands-on experience, Larson will be rotating through the hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, chemistry and the blood bank departments in the Cary lab as part of the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s two-year MLT program.
