CONNECTICUT & CASTLE HILL — Crystal L. Johnston Grice, 74, died on February 21, 2011, at a Hartford hospital. She was born on March 4, 1936, the daughter of Lee and Hazel (York) Argraves.

Crystal retired from the State of Connecticut.

She is survived by three sons: Everett A. Johnston Jr. and his wife, Ann Louise of Sulfax, VA, Arthur of Rome, GA, and Garth A. and his wife, Debbie of Mapleton; a daughter, Christine M. Johnston of East Hartford, CT; six brothers: John, Milford, Dale, and Ronald Argraves, all of Castle Hill, Robert of Fort Fairfield, and Eugene Argraves of Manchester, CT; three sisters: Harriet Singh, Roberta Roy and Sandra Fettig, all of Hartford, CT; five grandchildren: Christopher Johnston of Castle Hill, Brandon Johnston of East Hartford, Dylan Johnston of Manchester, CT, Shauna Johnston of Mapleton, and Devin Johnston of East Hartford.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Everett Johnston in 1995; and most recent husband, Leonard Grice.

Relatives and friends called 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle, where funeral services were held at 7 p.m., Saturday, with Pastor Lucy Lovley officiating.
