WALLINGFORD, CT — Norman Theriault, 75, husband of the late Loretta (Spinney) Theriault, died February 17, 2011, at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Ashland, the son of the late Paul J. and Simone (Caron) Theriault.

Norman loved the outdoors and worked as a logger in the woods of Maine from 1950 to 1970, when he moved to Connecticut. He retired from International Silver in Meriden in 1980. He also worked as a machinist for various machine shops in Berlin, Wallingford and Meriden.

Norman is survived by two brothers: Hubert and his wife, Ruth Theriault of Meriden, and Richard and his wife, Iris Theriault of Ashland; two sisters: Linda Carney and her husband, Vaughn of Frenchville, and Evelyn Tardie of Mapleton; also several nieces and nephews, up and down the east coast.

He was predeceased by two brothers: Melvin Theriault, and Ronald Theriault; three sisters: Joann Beaulier, Pauline Smith and Jeannette Tracy; and a godson, Shawn Theriault.
