Ramsey solid at meet
STOWE, VT — First-year University of Maine at Presque Isle nordic skier Welly Ramsey completed his rookie campaign as a NCAA championship participant, an honor for any student-athlete to experience.

finished in 29th place in the 20K Classic mass start March 11, posting a time of 1:09:31.0 over the course.
The New Sharon native also had a strong race March 9 in the 10K Freestyle competition. He skied to a 24th finish overall, posting a time of 27:25.9.
As the sole participant for his team, Welly carried UM-Presque Isle to a 20th-place overall finish. The University of Colorado won the NCAA team title.
