Elena Jasmir Lozada

LOZADA, Elena Jasmir, PRESQUE ISLE and NEW YORK, at New York. A celebration of her life and a memorial service will be held at The Family Christian Center, Caribou, on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 7 p.m.

Elena Jasmir Lozada was born Nov. 26, 1985, in Queens, NY, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 24.

Elena was predeceased by her grandmother, Goldie Brantley of Queens, NY, and will be laid to rest with her.

Elena lost her way in life at a young age, but she always had a heart for the Lord, as evidenced by the calls, cards and letters received over the years by her Mom. Elena loved to laugh and smile, was an artist, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially over holidays.

Left to grieve are her mother and father, Carrie and Randy Cronkite of Westfield, ME; brother, Keith Brantley of Washington State; sister, Bethany Lozada of Bangor; brother, Luis and sister-in-law, Margarita Lozada of Brooklyn, NY; and brother, Christopher Lozada of Queens, NY. Also left to mourn are grandfather Burnett Brantley of Brooklyn, NY, and grandmother Millie Cronkite of Presque Isle; aunt, Jewell Rogers of Brooklyn NY; uncle, Bernie Brantley of Houston, TX; aunt, Celeste and uncle, Gary Bent of Brooklyn, NY; aunt, Donna Knight of Hyde Park, IL; and aunt, Terri; and uncle, Don Brundage of Presque Isle. A special niece, Gaisa Luna; and a host of cousins and friends will also miss her.

A Celebration of Elena’s Life and a Memorial Service will be held at The Family Christian Center, 112 Caribou Rd., in Presque Isle, on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 7 p.m., with Rev Gail R. Bellami officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Drug Awareness, Education and Rehabilitation Fund at the Family Christian Center, P.O. Box 632, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
