    HOULTON – Brenda J. Hanning, 61, died June 10, 2011 at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1949 in Houlton, the daughter of Kenneth Hanning and Donna I. (Michaud, Hanning) MacDonald.
    Brenda was a member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the American Legion Aux., and was employed for several years with the Houlton Ambulance Department as an EMT.
    She is survived by her son, George McNinch and his wife, Tammy; daughter, Tina Graham and her husband, Bret, all of Houlton; six brothers, Ken and his wife, Millie, George, Gordon, Gerry, Rodney, and Fred, all of Houlton; six sisters, Gloria Prentiss and her husband, Robert of FL, Sharon Hanning, Sheila Bither, Dorothy Hanning, Leslie Hanning, all of Houlton and Mary Hanning of RI; grandchildren, Samantha Lynn McNich-Boyce of CA, Katie Rae and Jacob Lee Suitter, both of Houlton, and many nieces and nephews.
    She also leaves a special friend, Misty Polchies and her children, Bradly and Damon.
