    NEW LIMERICK – Gertrude S. Lake, 94, died July 22, 2011 at a local healthcare facility. She was born August 29, 1916 at Linneus, the daughter of Guy and Olive (Murchie) Sawyer.
    Gertrude attended local schools and Ricker College Class of 1935.
    She is survived by one son, Guy Lake and his wife, Sandra, of New Limerick; four daughters, Gloria Guth of Coconut Creek, FL, Roberta Bray and her husband, Lucas, of Mt. Pleasant, AR, Lois Estabrook of Manchester, NH, Sally Fitzpatrick and her husband, Bill, of Hodgdon; fifteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Sawyer of Presque Isle; many nieces and nephews.
