Gary Greene and Fred Boyd were the overall winners of the 125 golfers playing in the Upper St. John Valley Senior Golf Association Tournament held at Portage Hills Golf Club.
Greene of Covered Bridge took the overall gross score with a 76, while Boyd of Mars Hill was the low net winner with a 67.
Division A gross winners were: Greene, 76; Dan Hotham, Presque Isle, 76 and Jerry York, Houlton, 80. Net, Greg Douglas, VaJoWa, 72; Stephen Sweetser, Presque Isle, 73 and David Grant, Houlton, 74.
Division B gross winners were: Jerry Bear, Aroostook Valley, 81; Harold Clark, Presque Isle, 84 and Bob Duprey, Presque Isle, 87. Net, Harry Orser, Mars Hill, 69; Bob Osterbloom, Aroostook Valley, 73 and Roland Nadeau, Edmundston, 73.
Division C gross winners were: Josephel Pelletier, Presque Isle, 88; Jon Smallwood, VaJoWa, 89 and Dave Scullion, Portage Hills, 89. Net, Robert Burns, Limestone, 72; Peter Haskill, Portage Hills, 72 and Bob Lewandowski, Presque Isle, 73.
Division D gross winners were: Terry Duffy, VaJoWa, 89; Dan Boyd, Presque Isle, 90 and Galen Cote, Presque Isle, 95. Net, Ken Delano, VaJoWa, 71; Hamish Duncan, Covered Bridge, 73 and Tom Kent, Fort Kent, 77.
