LANGLEY, Dixie A., 72, CRESTVIEW, FLa & PRESQUE ISLE, April 27, 2011. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Westfield. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Homes, Presque Isle.

CRESTVIEW, FLa & PRESQUE ISLE – Dixie A. Langley, 72, passed away April 27, 2011, at home, after a brief illness. She was born on September 6, 1938, in Centerville, NB, Canada, and moved to Crestview, Fla., in 1995 from Maine.

She was an active member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Crestview and the Wesleyan Church in Presque Isle. Marvin and her family were the love of her life. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and children at church.

Dixie was predeceased by her parents, George M. Doherty and Alberta M. (Bell) Doherty Wright; a daughter, Peggy Sue, her special step-father, Basil Wright; three brothers and an infant brother Donald.

Surviving her is her husband, Marvin Langley of Crestview, Fla; her children: Marvin “Ricky” E. Langley, Jr. and his wife, Grace, Roger D. Langley and his wife, Cindy, Randy L. Langley, Steven P. Langley, Heidi J. Langley, Roderick W. Langley and his wife, Lisa, and Troy W. Langley; brothers and sisters include: George “Sonny” Doherty and his wife, Edith, Wiley Doherty and his wife Shirley, Reta Gustin, Ruth Barnes and her husband, Philip, Carol Anne Manson, Mary Jane Caron, and Basil Robert Wright and his wife, Leslie; two special sisters-in-law: Natalie (Langley) Broad, and Linda (Langley) Murchison.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Westfield with Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Local arrangements by Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
