WOODLAND – Sophie Mae (Theriault) Morneault, 78, passed away Thursday, August 4, at home surrounded by family and friends after a brief battle with cancer. Sophie was born in Washburn, on December 3, 1932, the daughter of the late William and Maria Theriault of Washburn.
Sophie is survived by her children, Peter Polichak and his wife, Sheryl of Dexter, Dennis Polichak and his wife, Rosey of Corinna, James Mchone of Greenbush, Tory Farris and his wife, Paula of Woodland, Lonna Drew and her husband, Dennis of Corinna, Reason Farris of North O’Brian, FL, and David Farris and his wife, Donna of North O’Brian, FL. She also leaves behind many close family and friends that will remember her dearly.
Per Sophie’s request there will be no services. A special thank you to the Hospice and Visiting Nurses of Aroostook for their kindness and support.
