Van Buren Port to temporarily close

VAN BUREN — Officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have announced that the Van Buren port of entry will be temporarily closed to all traffic on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 7 a.m. until noon; as part of the new port construction, the facility’s train trestle will be removed and the road will be closed during this time.

All traffic, passenger cars, commercial trucks and pedestrians, are instructed to use alternate ports of entry during the previously stated hours.
