HODGDON — Hodgdon Mill Pond Principal Loreen Wiley would like to welcome all new students to SAD 70 (AOS 48) for the upcoming school year. Parents of new students for the towns of Hodgdon, Amity, Cary, Haynesville, Linneus, Ludlow and New Limerick should register at Mill Pond School in Hodgdon before Aug. 24.
The district’s school board reminds all parents/guardians that the first day of school for students in grades K-8 is Wednesday, Aug. 24. Breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. with classes following promptly at 8 a.m. Busses leave the school at 2:30 p.m. and late dismissal for walkers, bikers and students is at 2:35 p.m.
“We ask that you schedule appointments and lessons later in the afternoon, so students will complete their daily classes,” Wiley said.
