Let the RE/MAX team’s experience work for you

RE/MAX Central offers full-time, experienced brokers, ready to meet all your property needs, whether you’re looking for a home, a home-away-from-home or someplace to set up business.

The owners, Jane and Paul Towle and Robert and Lehrle Kieffer, bring years of experience to the business.

“The Kieffer family has been in real estate in The County since 1984. When the Towles added their years of experience we became a RE/MAX office in 2004,” said Lehrle Kieffer.

With three locations in Aroostook County — 101 High Street in Caribou, 612 Main Street in Presque Isle and 1 Kendall Street in Houlton — RE/MAX Central has staff conveniently located to serve your real estate needs.

“We currently have 11 brokers and are recruiting for more in each of our three locations,” she said.

The business specializes in listing and selling of all types of real estate.

“We handle listings for homes, land, camps, commercial locations, as well as running businesses,” Kieffer said.

She said having such a presence in the region gives staff an opportunity to get to know the people they serve on a local level.

“Community involvement is important to RE/MAX brokers. RE/MAX specializes in customer service excellence,” she said.

Brokers devote a lot of time and energy into ensuring a smooth transition from buyer to owner and from owner to seller, assisting in each step of the process to be sure everything is handled properly.

“We take the time to walk buyers and sellers through all of the steps, all of the paperwork, all of the state-required mandates, to be sure everyone is fully informed,” said Kieffer. “Customers rave about the RE/MAX service that works for them 24/7.”

RE/MAX Central brokers offer experience when you need it.

“Working full-time for you, when you want to buy or sell, our experience really pays off. We’ve been around since the early 1980s, when interest rates were 14 percent. So we know challenging times and can help buyers and sellers maneuver their way through to a fair deal with good financing,” Kieffer said.

Kieffer said staff takes a modest approach to the real estate business.

“We don’t like to brag, so we only advertise our properties that are for sale, but folks ask us how the market is. We’re here to tell you, RE/MAX Central is selling properties,” she said.

Despite tough economic times that hit the housing market extremely hard nationwide, the company made numerous sales last year in Aroostook.

“Last year, when folks said real estate times were tough, we put together almost $20 million in sales in Aroostook County. In fact, just since Jan. 1 of this year, we have sold over $9.6 million in property in Aroostook County,” said Kieffer. “Experience and commitment matters; of course, the best Internet exposure through six fully-supported websites helps too!”

Kieffer said now is a great time to consider purchasing that property you’ve had your eye on, whether you’re looking at buying your first home, a bigger home or business site.

“Prices and interest rates are at an all-time low, making this a perfect time to buy. Sellers are pricing fairly, so both buyers and sellers win,” Kieffer said. “Consider contacting a RE/MAX Central broker, when you want to buy or sell.”

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; with nights and weekends by appointment.

“Staff work with customers to accommodate their busy schedules,” said Kieffer.
