Myrtle Tree, Ravenswood unite

Where can you find ‘The County’s Garden Destination’ and a wide selection of unique treasures? Myrtle Tree Farm/Ravenswood, located at 368 Fort Fairfield Rd., in Presque Isle.

Myrtle Tree, owned by Donna and CK Keegan, has 20 years in the nursery and garden business.

“We knew you could plant perennials all season, some even better planted in the fall, so with that in mind, we set out to make available plants and information to help gardeners enjoy adding to their gardens all season,” said Donna Keegan.

At Myrtle Tree, you can find quality plants for your garden and landscape, with a great selection of perennials, herbs, everlastings, small fruits, vines, roses, lilacs, shrubbery, fruit trees, crabapples and specimen trees.

“We offer knowledgeable service, with display gardens designed to inspire,” said Keegan, noting tips and ideas are just part of doing good business.

Ravenswood, owned by Debi Ames, also calls 368 Fort Fairfield Rd. home.

“After 15 years’ experience in the retail business — both in management and buying products — my passion for retail has not dimmed. I started my own specialty shop, Ravenswood Gifts and Antiques, to share that passion,” said Ames.

At Ravenswood you’ll find unique and interesting treasures for your home, camp and garden that one would never find in the “big box” down the road, explained Ames. Whether you’re looking for something to complete a relaxing summer garden or want that perfect decoration for an interior home project, Ravenswood offers something for just about any taste and design plan.

“Ravenswood Gifts offers beautiful New England baskets by Peterboro, Maine-made products including North Country wind bells, Birch Tree bird houses, ceramic and cast iron birdbaths, a large selection of wind chimes, loon decoys, candles, sconces, stained glass panels and lamps by Megpa, Tiffany and J. Dexlin, accent furniture, including seasonal decorations and so more,” said Ames.

Customers are greeted by warm lighting, soft music, appealing fragrances and wonderful products that create an inviting atmosphere for their shopping experience.

Business hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; hours will change for the holidays. Free gift wrapping is also offered.
